MORE PLACES TO WALK...

Fancy getting some fresh air but don't want to commit to following set instructions? Here are some great local places where you can park up and roam free!

Disclaimer: When I say suitable for pushchairs, it's because there's a pretty good track but it's not always paved/surfaced. I'd recommend fairly robust buggies as it can still get muddy - especially in the winter months.

460 acres of chalk grassland and ancient woodlands with waymarked trails.

Dogs allowed. Free parking. Benches.

160 acres of woodland to explore with waymarked trails. Some amazing views over Kent from viewpoints too.

Brooklands Lake

Car park: DA1 1LN 

Free parking. Dogs allowed (on lead). Suitable for pushchairs. Benches.

A set of fishing lakes with stony pathways around and through the middle.

Car park: TN13 3DH

Visitor centre. Toilets. Refreshments. Surfaced paths. Suitable for pushchairs & wheelchairs. Picnic area.

Lakes, woodland, marshes and elemental gardens with waymarked trails and surfaced paths.
